Mr Straws House, Worksop S81 0JW - 2013

This Victorian house containing period artefacts spanning 100 years is essentially a time capsule with original decor from the early 1920's.  It is now owned by the U.K National Trust who protect and administer the building in it's current status. The house belonged to the Straw family during the 1920's and 1930's and the remaining two brothers William and Walter lived here, without changing any interior features, until their deaths. The house was acquired in the 1990's by the National Trust and now serves as a museum from the 1920's.
